FreedForm Hawaii

FreedForm Hawaii is a husband and wife woodworking team specializing in laser-cut and engraved functional art, made from Hawaiian Koa and other exotic hardwoods. Amanda and Chris have both enjoyed woodturning and crafting as a hobby, and the business was conceived as a means of allowing them to spend more of their time together. By combining long-established, classical woodworking techniques with cutting-edge CNC laser tooling -- the perfect synthesis of tradition and technology -- they are able to create uniquely beautiful, high quality wood pieces, appealing to locals and visitors alike, at their home on the Big Island of Hawaii, where both were born and raised. FreedForm Hawaii’s exclusive, hand-milled Koa earrings are produced from reclaimed Big Island Koa wood, rescued in the form of off-cuts from local mills to promote the future sustainability of Hawaii’s beautiful Koa wood.
